1. Information We Collect
We collect absolutely nothing. Zero. None.
DoomFree is designed as an offline-first application. All features work entirely on your device without any network communication to our servers.
What Stays on Your Device
- Habit completion data: Your daily tasks, streaks, and progress
- Coin balance: Earned and spent coins
- Journal entries: Your personal reflections
- App preferences: Enabled habits, custom ordering
- Screen time settings: Which apps you've restricted
- Photos for verification: Used only momentarily for AI verification, never stored or transmitted
Camera Photos: When you use the camera to verify daily habits, the photo is processed instantly by on-device AI (Core ML/Vision) and immediately discarded. Photos are never saved, stored, or transmitted anywhere.
2. How We Use Information
Since we don't collect any information, we don't use any information. It's that simple.
All app functionality operates locally on your device using Apple's frameworks:

3. Data Storage
All your data is stored locally on your iPhone using iOS's secure storage mechanisms:
- UserDefaults: App preferences and progress data
- App Group Container: Shared data between app and extensions
Data Backup
Your DoomFree data may be included in your iCloud or iTunes backups if you have device backup enabled. This is handled entirely by iOS and we have no access to these backups.
If you delete the app, all data is permanently removed from your device.
4. Third-Party Services
DoomFree does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services.
The only external integration is with Apple's Screen Time API (Family Controls), which is a system-level iOS feature that operates under Apple's privacy policies.

5. Children's Privacy
DoomFree is designed to be family-friendly and does not collect any personal information from users of any age.
Since the app works entirely offline and collects no data, there are no special privacy concerns for children. Parents can feel confident that their children's information is not being collected, stored, or shared.
Parental Note: The Screen Time restrictions feature uses iOS Family Controls. Parents may want to review how the app integrates with their family's Screen Time settings.
6. Your Rights
Since we don't collect any personal data, traditional data rights (access, deletion, portability) don't apply in the conventional sense.

7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make any material changes, we will notify users through the app or by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
